When Ray came to our home, we told him we wanted to shingle two out-buildings. He showed us samples of the rustic hand split shake shingle in which we were interested. He explained how the shingles fit together and would be secured. He told us how the heat barrier worked to protect the roof. Ray estimated the cost of our project and set up three payments to be made during the application of the shingles and at the end of the project.
We decided to do the house roof instead of the sheds. Ray again came to our house. He spent time examining the structure with us, answered our questions, and changed our contract.
Our starting date was set up, and the roofers showed up bright and early on April 5 with materials and tools. They decided we had one layer of shingles on our house and so they would not have to remove old shingles. We were pleased. The new shingles could be started right away, and the disposed shingles did not have to be taken to a waste site. We saved money in labor and shingle disposal.
We are very happy with our AMR roof and the professional people who installed it and worked with us to plan it. We have already had compliments on how attractive the house looks.
